DuPont Structural Improvements

The work done by Pinpoint Engineering at the DuPont facility included many upgrades and “future proofing”. It involved adding new fire exit stairs, new front entrance canopy, new fire walls, and facility roof re-framing. The purpose of the re-framing was to enhance the roof structure to meet current building code requirements and possible future requirements. Our scope required us to complete structural building condition assessments, detailed roof capacity analysis, reporting, details for reinforcing joists and truss girders.
